National Forest Maze Events

Our special 'Diary of Events' for 2010


  • Sat 17 July - The National Forest Maize Maze opens with it's 2010 'Beach' theme.

  • Sat 31st July – visit from Staffordshire Police and Fire Services. Find out more about a day in the life of our local heroes. Have your fingerprints taken, learn how to put out a fire, sit in a fire engine and much more!

  • Sat 7th August – Agri-lympics Charity Fun Day. Following the success of last year’s money-raising event, the Agri-lympics is back this year with a beach theme. Teams will compete in disciplines such as surfing and round bale rolling in our annual crazy sports competition to raise money for Clic Sargent. No additional charges.

  • Sun 22nd August – National Forest Maze Beach Party! - Feel the cares of the week fade away…come and soak up the sights, sounds and fun of a Caribbean party with us! We’ll be limbo dancing, playing beach volleyball and building sand castles – there’ll be prizes for the best – all to the hypnotic sounds of steel band music. Spot prizes for the best beach outfits during the day!

  • Sat 28th August – The Moonlight Maze - The first Moonlight Maze Experience of the season. Open every Saturday night until 10.30pm from now until the end of September. Come and get lost in the dark!!

  • Mon 30th August - Bank Holiday Fun! Don’t get stuck in Bank Holiday traffic…get stuck in the maze!! Traditional seaside Punch and Judy fun with Mark Andrews.

  • Mon 6th September – Maze closes during the week days. - Our last opening weekday, but don’t worry, there is still lots of fun to be had as we are open every weekend for the rest of September!!
  • The 2009 Agrilympics Charity Day.

  • Sat 11th September – PJ Party. A moonlight maze with a difference…turn up in your pyjamas and join the fun! Spot prizes for jim jam wearing maze visitors.

  • Sun 26 September – Maze Closes. All good things must come to an end!!

  • And yet….

  • Thur 28th to Sun 31st October – Halloween Horror Nights. Are you brave enough to venture into the maze at this time of year? You never know who – or what – you might meet…These evenings will be ticketed events - please book early to avoid disappointment.
