The National Forest Adventure Farm has a very special 'Diary of Events' During the maize maze season


  • Sat 16 July - Shaun the Sheep opens the 2011 Shaun the Sheep Maize Maze
    'Come and bleat with Shaun the Sheep' as he opens our 2011 Shaun the Sheep Maize Maze

  • Sat 30 & Sun 31 July – Superheroes Weekend
    Free tub of High Peak Farmhouse Ice cream for every kid dressed as a Superhero. Cineworld tickets to give away for best costumes.

  • Sat 6th August – Agri-lympics Charity Fun Day.
    The Agri-lympics is back again!! Teams will compete for the ‘Golden Welly’ in our annual crazy agricultural sports competition. This year raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. No additional entrance charges apply for spectators. Please enquire if you would like a chance to compete.

  • Sat 20th & Sun 21st August – Scarecrow Workshop
    Bags of jumble, bales of straw, glue, selotape and kids...build your own scarecrow craft workshop. Prizes for the best scarecrows.

  • Sun 28th & Mon 29th August – Bank Holiday Fun Weekend -
    Don’t get stuck in Bank Holiday traffic…get stuck in the maze!! Madcap entertainer Mark Bant will be on hand showing off his circus skills. Music by Rosie R J and April Davies

  • Sat 10th & Sun 11th September
    A moonlight maze with a difference…turn up in your pyjamas and join the fun! Maze open til 10.30pm Don’t forget to bring a torch!

  • 2011 maze closes on 11th September

  • Sat 17th September – Vintage tractor rally -
    Memorial tractor rally for Thomas Pegg. The rally will run throughout the day on a pre-determined route of about 25 miles. Enquire if you would like to enter.
  • Sat 22nd to Mon 31st October – Halloween Horror Nights.
    Spooky by day… Scary by night!!! Halloween fun for kids during the daytime; including spooky scares, pumpkin carving, fancy dress, ghost stories and more. Then later…The creatures of the night emerge as The Adventure Farm hosts the infamous farm fright nights. Visit us if you dare! Evening entry will be a ticketed event aimed at older children and adults.
